Christmas Album Launch!

New Album – A Dublin Gospel Christmas!

On November 17th DGC are delighted to release their brand new Christmas album ‘A Dublin Gospel Christmas’. An eclectic collection of carefully crafted songs, ‘A Dublin Gospel Christmas’ features top Irish musicians, top singers, and guest appearances from The Booka Brass Band. With brand new arrangements, The Dublin Gospel Choir gives a gospel treatment to the Christmas songs we all know and love.

Recorded in Ventry Studios, Balbriggan by Dave McCune, ‘A Dublin Gospel Christmas’, was produced and arranged by Shane McVicker (Celtic Woman, Brian Kennedy, Sharon Corr) and by Orla Gargan (Musical Director).

Lead single “Joy To The World”, sets the tone and paves the way for the rest of the album, taking you on a journey from gospel stomping, festive numbers such as ‘Born to Die’ and ‘Jesus What a Wonderful Child’, to more emotional and delicately performed Christmas classics such as “Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, ‘What a Wonderful World’ and ‘Oh Holy Night”, to more pop influenced numbers such as ‘Christmas in LA’ by Vulpeck.

A Dublin Gospel Christmas is perfect listening for this time of year, to stream, download or to buy as a physical CD. Get your copy from Nov 17th, or pre-order if you can’t wait that long!
